<p>Winsford's very own Vicky Jones did fantastic at the
TAGB Tae Kwon Do World Championships over the weekend.</p>
<p>Vicky won GOLD! in the "Traditional Patterns" at Light
Weight Class on Saturday 11th September and then, Vicky
went on to win BRONZE! in the "Adult Coloured Belt
Sparring" on Sunday 12th September.</p>
<p>Vicky said that everyone watching her fight, including
her Instructor and herself thought she had done enough
and won her Semi Final against a very strong opponent
from Poland. But the corner judges awarded the win to
the Polish competitor.</p>
<p>"I was so so, close to the final. It would have been
amazing to have been able to fight in the final."
Vicky said.</p>
<p>Obviously, Vicky is over the moon with her performance
in the World Championships and said that all the hard
work and extra training she had put in was worth it.</p>
<p>Vicky will be back at football training with the ladies
team this Thursday, to get ready for this weekends league
match, which is away against Macclesfield.</p>
