Winsford United Ladies F.C. Signs 3 New Players!!

Winsford United Ladies are happy to announce that the Team have recently signed three new players to help strengthen their squad.

The Ladies Team would would like to welcome and introduce their new signings:

Jade Walton

Jade has previously played for Warrington Town Juniors for 3/4 seasons up until she turned 16.

Jade joined the Army AGC Corps and during the 3 years in which she was in the Army, she played for their team, travelling to LA to play against 3 different teams from LA.

She has had a break away from football for about 4 years and is just getting back into playing football after also having a baby girl just 10 months ago.

Jade favours her right foot and her preferred position is Centre Mid.

Leah Ayrton

Leah has previous experience playing for Swansea University, where she was also Captain during her second year at Uni. During this time, the Uni Team reached the final of the Welsh Cup.

After leaving University Leah joined Warrington Town, where she played for them for several seasons.

She is just getting back into playing after taking a 3 year break, during which Leah had her son.

Leah is left footed, so likes to play on the left side of midfield.

Nikita Halford

Nikita played for Warrington Wolverines last season, which was her first season playing open age football.

She has a strong physical presence on the pitch and isn't afraid to get stuck in. She is confident with the ball at her feet, has a good eye for goal and a powerful shot.

Nikita is right footed and prefers to play up front.

The Management, Coaches and players welcome their new signings to the team and would like to wish them good luck for the season ahead.

The Ladies are still looking for additional players to add to the current squad.
