<p>The great british weather keeps postpones Winsford's fourth
league fixture so far this season. Unfortunately for the Ladies
we had already arrived at the Leverhulme Playing Fields, Birkenhead's
home pitch, to then have the referee call the game off 45 minutes
before kick-off. But in the referee's defence, the pitch was
unplayable, as there was a lot of surface water and in a few places
large area's of standing water, one of which was in the goal
mouth. So for the safety of the player's, the referee deemed
it unplayable.</p>
<p>The match will be rearranged for a date to be agreed between the
League Secretary and both team managers.</p>
